About RTJ Equipment

Built by locals. Built for locals.

RTJ Equipment is a locally owned rental and equipment company based in the greater Williston area. After a major storm tore up the family farm, we ran into the same problem a lot of us here have faced: it was harder than it should be to find the equipment we needed at a fair price. To solve that problem, RTJ Equipment was born.

We serve homeowners, farmers, and small contractors around Williston who just need reliable equipment to get work done without jumping through endless hoops or paying oilfield rates.

Our fleet includes skid steers, mini excavators, scissor lifts, trailers, tools and a wide range of attachments. We're also a dealer for Mi-T-M equipment, so if you're looking for gear that you don't need to throw away and replace after one season, we can help there too.

The People Behind the Business

About the Owners

Rudy Radovich moved to Williston in 2005 after accepting a job offer with Williams County to be a Corrections Deputy. After 8 years of service, he transitioned to the oilfield to better provide for his family. He has spent the last 13 years working in supply chain management roles in various oilfield and heavy equipment companies ranging from small shops to massive corporations.

His wife Jennifer Radovich was born and raised in Williston and has been a Special Educator at Williston High School for many years. Their twins, Emily and Ethan, were born at Mercy Medical Center in Williston and currently attend Williston High School where they are both on the honor roll.

With our background in oilfield and heavy equipment supply chains, we know what good equipment should look like, how it should be maintained, and what it takes to keep it running when you need it.

What we focus on is simple:

  • Equipment that works when you start it
  • Pricing that makes sense for real people
  • Straight answers when you ask a question

No gimmicks. No surprises. No "misrepresentations" to make the sale.

We run this business on a few basic principles:

Honesty

We tell you what you need to know, not what sounds good.

Integrity

If we say it, we stand behind it.

Transparency

No hidden fees, no fine print games, everything is disclosed up front.

Care

We treat people the way we expect to be treated, we want to see your project succeed.

At the end of the day we aren't another big corporate outfit that wouldn't even look at Williston twice if the oil was gone. We are building something local that people around here can rely on for years to come. Why? Because we've been in your shoes and know how frustrating it is when you're trying to get something done and the equipment just isn't available at a price you can afford.
